lib64gcc1 software package provides GCC support library (64bit), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lib64gcc1
lib64gcc1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lib64gcc1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lib64gcc1 *
You will get with lib64gcc1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
